Managing and Revoking Access#

Everything the Website Assistant can do runs through a connection you can see and control.

Connected apps#

Open Account → Connected apps. Every connection is listed with:

• its name (e.g. "Claude · Website Assistant");
• the businesses it may work on;
• its fixed access ("drafts + media" — never publishing);
• when it was last used and when it expires.

Revoking#

Click Revoke on any connection. Revocation is immediate: the assistant's very next request fails, mid-conversation if it has to. There is no grace period and nothing to wait for.

What else ends a connection#

• Expiry — connections expire on the schedule you chose at consent (30/90 days or 1 year). Reconnecting takes a minute.
• Password reset — resetting your ShopStable password revokes every connection, on purpose.
• Role changes — if you lose website-edit access to a business, connections you created stop working for that business at once.
• Leaving a team — your connections lose that business automatically.

Audit trail#

Every change the assistant makes is recorded in your business audit log, attributed to the specific connection that made it — so "what did the assistant change?" always has an exact answer.
